How we do it
We use flat sheets of plastic. By cutting to the desired size we then move onto other operations such as routing to a pattern or perhaps drilling of some holes. Sometimes both. Jigs and fixtures may be used to get the desired result and work well for redundant task and maintaining consistency of product. Bending and polishing make plastic a very desirable choice of material for many applications. The ability to cement or glue clear joints also adds to making a subliminal display which can also be very aesthetically pleasing.

Acrylic Vitrine, Case, Cover or Box
Acrylic vitrines or otherwise commonly known as dust covers are used to cover anything from home items such as dolls or toy models to more elaborate item such as seen in a museum.
Now days a similar case turned up side down is very often used as a fish tank or even a sump. Acrylic is clear and joints are tight enough to hold water. Imagine the possibilities.
